To assist companies who wish to control information and its flow through the company, KOMS 17 Ltd are holding a 2-day ISMS Implementation course in the Birmingham area in April.
Course Introduction:- This course will provide you with a background on the requirements of the standard as well as the tools and techniques to be followed to implement ISMS in your own company. Practical exercises include identification of assets and the identification and management of associated risks.

In addition, participants will acquire basic knowledge of the best practices in the implementation of Information Security control measures based on the eleven ISO 27001 domains; security policy, organisation of information security, asset management, human resources security, physical and environmental security, communications and operations management, access control, information systems acquisition, development and maintenance, information security incident management, business continuity management and compliance.
